1. Brown the sausage in your Instant Pot or a pan. If using the Instant Pot, scrape the bottom after so you don’t get that burn warning.
2. Add broth, rice + seasoning packet, Rotel, and your cayenne/red pepper flakes. Stir until the rice is fully covered.
3. If you’re doing onions/garlic, sauté those with the sausage before adding the liquids. If adding another meat, toss it in here too.
4. Pressure cook on high for 15 minutes, then quick release.
